Domestic Flight. International Savings.

Travel to Tijuana for Dental Treatment

Traveling to Tijuana for dental treatment can be simpler than traveling to many international dental destinations. Patients flying from the United States can take a domestic flight to San Diego, continue to Tijuana by ground, and reach our clinic at Torre 21 just minutes from the U.S.-Mexico border. Our team can also help coordinate transportation for eligible patients.

How to Travel to Smile 4 Ever Mexico

Fly to San Diego International Airport (SAN)

For most patients traveling from the United States, flying into San Diego International Airport (SAN) is the most convenient option. Because San Diego is a domestic U.S. destination, you can fly there without taking an international flight to Mexico. Eligible treatment packages may include coordinated airport transportation to Tijuana.

Drive to Tijuana

Patients driving from California, Arizona, or nearby areas can cross into Tijuana by car and continue directly to our clinic at Torre 21. The building offers convenient valet parking, so you can arrive directly for your appointment without having to search for parking nearby. Valet service is available for an additional fee.

Transportation for Dental Patients

Transportation options depend on your treatment and travel arrangements. Eligible patients may receive coordinated pickup from San Diego International Airport or the San Ysidro border, while transportation between our clinic and participating hotels may also be available. Your patient coordinator will confirm the transportation included with your treatment before your trip.

Once your flights are booked, send your complete arrival and departure itinerary to your patient coordinator so pickup details can be confirmed when transportation is included.

When Should I Arrive in Tijuana for Dental Treatment?

Your arrival and departure days should be planned separately from your treatment days whenever possible. We recommend arriving before your first scheduled appointment and departing after your final treatment day, especially for surgical or multi-day procedures.

Before purchasing your return flight, confirm your treatment schedule with your patient coordinator. Some procedures may require additional recovery time before flying.

Where Should Dental Patients Stay in Tijuana?

Staying in Tijuana during treatment keeps you closer to the clinic for appointments, follow-up visits, and any adjustments that may be needed. Smile 4 Ever Mexico works with participating hotels in the area, and transportation between selected hotels and the clinic may be available depending on your treatment arrangements.

Ask your patient coordinator which hotel options and transportation services apply to your treatment before making a reservation.

When Should I Arrive in Tijuana for Dental Treatment?

The number of days you should plan to stay in Tijuana depends on your treatment. Cosmetic procedures may require a different schedule than implant surgery or full-arch rehabilitation, so confirm your expected treatment and recovery days with your patient coordinator before booking your return flight.

What Travel Documents Should I Bring to Tijuana?

U.S. patients traveling to Tijuana should bring a valid passport for international travel and re-entry into the United States. Keep your passport and other important travel documents accessible when crossing the U.S.-Mexico border. If you are traveling with a companion, they should also bring their own valid travel documents.
