How it works
What Are All-on-4 Dental Implants?
All-on-4 replaces a full upper or lower arch with a fixed set of teeth held by four implants. Two go straight in the front of the jaw, and two go in the back at an angle, which lets them use the strongest bone you have. That angle is the reason many people who were told they don’t have enough bone can still get fixed teeth.
Only missing one or a few teeth? A single dental implant is usually the better fit.
| Traditional denture | Snap-on denture | All-on-4 | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stays in place | Relies on suction or adhesive | Clicks onto implants | Fixed; only your dentist removes it |
| Covers the palate | Yes, upper denture | Often less | No |
| Comes out at night | Yes | Yes | No |
| Eating | Soft foods, often with slipping | Most foods | Most foods, once healed |

Is it right for you?
Who Is a Good Candidate for All-on-4?
Usually, someone who is missing most of their teeth in one arch, has teeth that can’t be saved, or is tired of a denture that moves. Send us a panoramic X-ray or a CBCT scan if you have one, and our surgeon will tell you before you travel whether All-on-4 makes sense.
- Most teeth in one arch are missing, loose or failing.
- You want fixed teeth, not something you take out at night.
- Your health is stable enough for oral surgery. Conditions like diabetes need to be under control.
- You’re willing to quit or cut back on smoking while you heal.
Told you don’t have enough bone?
That doesn’t automatically rule you out. The angled back implants are designed for patients with bone loss. Your 3D CBCT scan shows us exactly how much bone you have and where.
Four implants isn’t always the answer
Some patients need five or six for extra support. See how we decide.
We keep healthy teeth when we can
If some of your teeth are still strong, we’ll tell you. Full-arch treatment isn’t the answer for everyone, and we’d rather lose a sale than remove a tooth that can be saved.
All-on-X
Customized All-on-X Dental Implants in Tijuana
A lot of patients ask us for “All-on-4” because it’s the name they’ve heard. That’s fine, but the number of implants isn’t something you pick from a menu. Your surgeon decides after your 3D scan, case by case. As a rule, more implants mean more support, and a safety margin in case one doesn’t heal the way it should.
Our goal isn’t to fit you into a package. It’s to recommend the plan we’d choose for our own mouth, and to explain why in writing.
All-on-4
Our most common plan. Two straight implants in the front and two angled in the back hold a fixed arch, and the angle lets many people with bone loss avoid a graft.
From $7,998 per arch
All-on-5
One extra implant means more support, and a backup. If your body doesn’t accept one implant during healing, which is rare, the other four can still hold your final teeth. That’s why we often suggest it when your bone is softer in one area or your bite is strong.
Quoted in your plan
All-on-6
Six implants give your arch the most support and spread the biting force evenly. They also add the biggest safety margin: if one implant doesn’t integrate, five are still there to hold your final teeth.

How Much Does All-on-4 Cost in Tijuana?
All-on-4 starts at $7,998 per arch, and it comes as a package: your extractions and your 3D scan are already part of it. That matters when you compare clinics, because a lower number somewhere else often leaves those out.

- Any extractions in that arch
- Four implants from the Straumann Group
- Oral sedation for your surgery
- Fixed temporary teeth, if you qualify for immediate load

What can change your price
A bone graft, a sinus lift, IV sedation, extra implants or a different material for your final teeth. If your case needs any of them, you’ll see it in your written plan before you travel, never as a surprise in the chair.
Choosing your final teeth? PMMA is the starting option. Zirconia is stronger and more stain-resistant, and it’s quoted for your case. Already have implants and only need new teeth? We quote the prosthesis on its own.
Paying for Your All-on-4
Most patients pay in two parts, one for each trip. Qualified patients can also finance through our partner, MyGlobby, with payments starting at about $249 a month; your exact terms depend on MyGlobby’s approval. Many U.S. PPO plans also reimburse part of the treatment. See dental financing options.

Comparing clinics?
Your All-on-4 Quote Covers Both Trips, in Writing
Patients comparing full-arch quotes often find that one clinic prices only the surgery and another only the final teeth. Ours covers the whole treatment, start to finish, so you can compare it line by line with anyone else’s.
Every All-on-4 quote lists:
- Trip 1 and trip 2, each with its own price
- Extractions, scan, implants and temporary teeth
- Your final teeth material and its price
- The implant system your surgeon will use
- The name and license (cédula) of your surgeon
- Your written warranty, specific to your case
At the end of treatment, ask for your records and your implant details, in English or Spanish, to share with your dentist back home.

Recovery
What the First Weeks After All-on-4 Feel Like
We’d rather you hear this from us than be surprised. The first few days are the hardest, and they get easier fast.
Swelling and soreness peak around the second or third day, and your surgeon gives you medication for both. Most patients are back to light activity within a few days.
What you can eat
Liquids and very soft foods at first, like soup, smoothies, yogurt and mashed potatoes. Your surgeon tells you when to move on to firmer foods, usually as the implants heal.
What to pack
Comfortable clothes, a soft-food plan for the hotel, a cold pack, your regular medications and a list of them for your surgeon.
Once you’re healed
Brush twice a day, use a water flosser around the implants and keep your regular cleanings back home. That care is what makes the implants last.

FAQ
All-on-4 Questions We Hear Every Week
Don’t see yours? Ask us. You’ll get a straight answer from a coordinator, not a sales script.
What exactly is included in the $7,998 starting price?
Your consultation, 3D CBCT scan, any extractions in that arch, four implants, oral sedation and fixed temporary teeth if you qualify for immediate load. It’s one arch. If you need a bone graft, extra implants or a different final material, we tell you in writing before you travel.
How long do I need to stay in Tijuana?
Most patients stay 4 to 5 days on the first trip. The second trip, for your final teeth, is usually shorter. We plan both with you before you book anything.
Will I leave with teeth?
Most qualified patients go home with fixed temporary teeth the same week. Whether you qualify depends on your bone, and your surgeon confirms it after your 3D scan. Nobody leaves without a plan for how they’ll look and eat while they heal.
I was told I don’t have enough bone. Can I still get All-on-4?
Often, yes. The back implants are placed at an angle to use the strongest bone you have, which is why All-on-4 works for many people with bone loss. Send us your scan or X-ray and our surgeon will tell you honestly.
Does All-on-4 surgery hurt?
You’re numb during surgery, and oral sedation is included to keep you relaxed. Afterward, swelling and soreness for a few days is normal, and your surgeon prescribes medication for it. IV sedation is available for some cases and quoted separately.
Are All-on-4 teeth removable?
No. Your teeth are fixed to the implants and only your dentist can remove them, for cleanings or maintenance. That’s the main difference from a denture or snap-on denture.
What are my options for the final teeth?
PMMA, a strong dental acrylic, is the starting option. Zirconia is harder, more stain-resistant and lasts longer, and it’s quoted for your case. We’ll show you both and help you choose.
I already have implants. Can you just make new teeth?
Yes. If your implants are healthy, we evaluate them and quote the new prosthesis on its own, without the full package.
What’s the difference between All-on-4 and All-on-6?
Both replace a full arch. The number of implants depends on your bone, your bite and how much support your teeth need, not on preference. Your surgeon will recommend one after your scan. More on our All-on-6 page.
What happens if an implant fails?
It’s covered under the terms of your written warranty, which is specific to your case and given to you before you start. Implant failures are rare, and following your aftercare and keeping your cleanings is the best protection.
